ANI OKKASIAN
Currently, Ani leads content strategy and development for Amazon Payment Products. In this role she leverages content marketing tactics to drive product adoption amongst global Amazon sellers.
Prior to this role, Ani was the Content Strategy Lead for the Global Digital Solutions division of Expeditors, a Seattle-based Fortune 500 company. This division is exclusively focused on launching new SaaS subsidiaries and platforms that optimize complex supply chains.
Ani has also served as the Director of Content at PicsArt. PicsArt is the world’s largest creative platform and social editing app powered by 190 million monthly active creators. Ani has led the Los Angeles based innovation unit within OMD, the 2019 Global Media Agency of the Year (Adweek), with such clients as Sony Pictures International, Warner Bros, CBS and Apple.
Ani has also served as the Managing Director of Impact Hub Los Angeles, a incubator/community center part of a global network of 20,000 social entrepreneurs in 96 Impact Hubs spread across five continents. During her time as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce she was responsible for overseeing the conception, planning, and execution of all strategic communications. And, external and public affairs were her focus as Field Director for the Los Angeles Board of Education.
She received her master’s from Georgetown University in the Communication, Culture, and Technology program and an undergraduate degree in Communications from Woodbury University. Ani also completed a summer fellowship centered on International Trade and Development at The Graduate Institute of Geneva during her graduate studies.
Ani has also been an adjunct professor of Interdisciplinary Research and Future Studies at Woodbury University for several years.
